What you’ve done already
- You shipped production-grade Ruby on Rails applications for at least 5 years.
- Hands‑on with at least one non‑relational DB and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
- Practical experience integrating AI/LLM/RAG + Tooling (e.g. Langfuse) and solid AWS tooling know‑how.
- You’re not just reading HN - you’re deeply engaged with the latest developments in AI/LLM tech.
- We couldn’t care less about any degrees. Only experience and know-how counts.
- You thrive in tiny, senior teams; high autonomy, high output.
What you’ll do
- Design & build a multi‑tenant Rails application that scales from day one.
- Own the backend and jump into full‑stack tasks when needed. Rails only, no React/JS except Stimulus
- Drive architecture, infrastructure, and product direction with your own ideas.

Compensation
- Base: €80k–€100k We’ll conduct a comp review after funding rounds (angel/VC) to re‑benchmark early hires to market.
